Granny and Grandpa came to visit again last weekend. A fine time was had by all, especially by Rani who greatly enjoyed the extra spoiling.

Shots? We Don't Need No Stinkin' Shots!

Yesterday Veronica had two awful experiences. First, she was subjected to the horror of the four-month immunizations, which she tolerated with a combination of stoicism and screaming. The second bit o' badness was having her pediatrician say good-bye to her.

Dr Kris Rehm, pictured here, is leaving the Old Harding Pediatrics Association to take a job as a hospitalist at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She has been very good with Veronica (and her paranoid parents), and we'll miss her..

Gone Down to Gate Tree

Veronica and Papa went down to "The Gate Tree" to visit Ninong and Ninang recently, for a day of used book store shopping, eating Nenong Mike's ribs, and having a good ole time on the recently de-ivy-ed porch. Contrary to Papa's paranoid fears, Horace the Hell Hound didn't eat any of Veronica's fingers or toes, and was, in fact, a very good boy. We want to get a dog like him, one day.
