What A Face!!

I asked Veronica to make a face like Grandpa, and look what she did.

Veronica shows us how she can stretch her nostrils.

Big Stretch

Ahhhhh, that's better.

Hmmmm....Maybe you'll look better if I cover one eye.

Is my hair okay?

Gonna Fly Now!

Veronica is working on her "Rocky" pose.

Hey Unca Hatch!!!

Veronica expresses her thoughts after dinner with her UncaHatch last night.

Shake It, Baby

Veronica is starting to figure out how to use those weird things at the ends of her arms. Here she is playing with her first toy, a gift from Ninong Mike and Ninang Cassondra. Contrary to appearances, she seems to like it.

Is it safe to come out, yet?

Veronica went for her shots today, and surprisingly....She cried and didn't like it. But she's all better now.

Granny and Grandpa came in to visit last weekend, and they certainly seemed to enjoy visiting with Veronica. Veronica seemed to like them pretty well, too.

Veronica's "good side".

We're number 1! At least, Papa hopes that's what Veronica is trying to communicate.

Mama! That tickles...

Oooohhhhh....not another bath...

What're you looking at?

Veronica is really enjoying her "Baby Einstein" play pad.

How about a hug?

Mama and Veronica at Centennial Park. You can see one of the local WWI Memorials in the background.

Veronica got to go on her first picnic last weekend. As you can see, the grumpy spirits of spring possessed our darling little girl.

Auntie 'Rissa uses her baby magic to turn the grumpy baby into a happy baby.

The Happy Baby after Auntie Rissa dispels the grumpy spirits.

Veronica had her first picnic last weekend. We dined under a tree at Centennial Park with Unca Hatch and Auntie 'Rissa, pictured here with the Princess.

Another picture from Granny and Grandpa's visit.
Soft, "old school" Pooh Bear (a gift from Ninong Mike and Ninang Cassondra), comforts Veronica in a stressful swinging moment.
If you've ever been "too drunk (on breast milk) to swing"...you might just be a baby.
Another gift from Tita Mellie Mo and Lola Mary was this wonderful "baby toter". Veronica and Papa hit the road (almost) every afternoon. Note the scary shark clock (loot from a Lovenox drug rep) in the background.
The force of Veronica's crying messes up Mama's hair. Bad Girl!
FEED ME! After a nappy change, Veronica voices her desire to dine.
Something wicked this way comes!
Veronica has been enjoying the small amount of control that she has gained over her head. Now that she can hold it up a bit, she gets to ride in the cool swing that Tita Melanie and Lola Mary let her use.
Granny and Grandpa came to visit las weekend. Veronica enjoyed seeing them (and burping on them) very much.
